Classical Guitar Duo Recital In-Person
Southern California native Brandon Kinaga Wong and his colleague Bowen Zheng will present an hour of classical guitar. The program will feature a Q & A session with the artists describing their repertoire selections, highlights of the composers, classical guitar as an “achievable” art form, and their paths to college and pursuing careers in music.
Artists:
Brandon and Bowen are award-winning classical guitarists who were undergraduate students at the Johns Hopkins University, Peabody Conservatory. Brandon recently received a Master’s degree in Music Performance from Yale. He is recognized for his authentic tone and versatility, and has performed internationally and across the U.S. Bowen, who is originally from Shanghai, finished his post-graduate performance studies at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Known for his expressive tone and thoughtful programming, Bowen has performed widely across the U.S. and is now the Events Director for the South Bay Guitar Society in San Jose.
