OC Parks In-Person
OC Parks is coming!
Marine Mammals, such as seals, sea lions, whales, and dugongs all move around in the ocean differently and have many characteristics that help them live and get around. Join an Orange County paleontologist as they show off a variety of local fossils of marine mammals and discuss how they use the bone to interpret how these animals have leveled up their swimming over time. Use what you learn by becoming a junior paleontologist, interpreting what you think an ancient marine mammal looked like and how it lived, based on its fossils
