Author Talk: Jacqueline Woodson In-Person
Join us for a special visit from Jacqueline Woodson! National Book Award-winner and MacArthur "Genius Grant" recipient, Woodson is one of the nation's most acclaimed authors writing for children, adolescents, and adults. Woodson's bestsellers include Red at the Bone and the National Book Award-winning Brown Girl Dreaming. Her many beloved books for young readers include the Newberry Honor-Winning titles: After Tupac and D Foster, Feathers, and Show Way. Woodson's newest middle grade novel, Remember Us, was named one of the best Children's Books of 2023 by the New York Times.
The Author Talk will take place from 11:00am to 12:00pm, followed by a storytime, crafts, and a beverage prepared by the Charlie Cart Committee from 12:00pm to 1:00pm!
Books available for purchase, courtesy of Mysterious Galaxy. No registration required, all ages welcome. Early arrival suggested.
